L'Art Month 2026 online portfolio

Every April, Margaux Derhy opens her work to a small circle during the Art Month, an online presentation in which a selection of works can be acquired directly from the artist. The 2026 edition ran from 28 March to 30 April, preceded by a preview reserved for her close network on 26 March.

She unveils Archives de la tendresse masculine, seventeen works in sfiffa passementerie needle-embroidered on cotton. A first for the atelier: this ancestral Moroccan technique, which very few workshops still practise at this level of exactness, gives each piece a relief and an immediate presence.

It all began with an absence: in her family archives, very few photographs of men in gestures of care or tenderness. For the first time, Margaux Derhy draws not only on her own images but also on those entrusted to her by dozens of people, to embroider gentle gestures, watchful silences, protective presences.
