The first collaboration between Tabari Artspace and The Third Line, Hot Spots is a selling exhibition presented at Sotheby's Dubai, in the DIFC Gate Village, from 9 January to 10 March 2025, as part of the dialogue Sotheby's maintains with the region's galleries.
The exhibition brings together artists from the Middle East and North Africa represented by the two galleries, among them Hassan Hajjaj, Youssef Nabil, Anuar Khalifi, Huda Lutfi, Almaha Jaralla and Aya Haidar. Its title borrows the language of advertising, and more precisely of tourism marketing, to question human movement, cultural attachment and globalisation.
Represented by Tabari Artspace, Margaux Derhy shows two large hand embroideries on linen, Gloria, femme forteresse and Déjà magicienne.
